Andy Garcia joins the cast of The Expendables 4. The film, written by Spenser Cohen with revisions by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly and produced by Lionsgate e Millennium Media, will be directed by stuntman-turned-helmer Scott Waugh.

It is told to be the most explosive among of all films of the franchise so far. Further details have not been released as far as the plot. Likely, the movie will once again focus on a group of veteran mercenaries and Garcia will probably play a CIA agent assigned to accompany the Expendables on a dangerous mission.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in October 2021 and will include once again in the cast Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture. Other significant additions are Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa.

The Expendables 4 is the first film in the series to be released more than two years after the previous film.
